GRATITUDE

Tis the season of thankfulness. Take time this week to be grateful.

You have answered a difficult call. Your family sacrifices. You spend countless hours, days, weeks and months apart from your servicemember. Your walls are bare because taking time to decorate when you’re just going to move again doesn’t seem worth it. You just got a great job opportunity and your servicemember announces you’ll be moving in 3 months.

There is a lot to complain about when it comes to military life. But there is also much to be grateful for! In case you’re struggling to find the silver lining in this crazy life, take a look at this list, reflect, add your own things, and give thanks…this is part of self-care!

- Strength & resiliency built through overcoming challenges
- Improvements in technology that make separation a bit easier
- Military friends who are more like family
- Networking opportunities
- Plentiful life and cultural experiences
- Freedom

The list could go on and on. This week, commit to taking time to be grateful.

We are thankful for amazing military spouses! It’s easy to come to work each day and fight for military families because we know the level of dedication, strength and passion you bring to your communities, workplaces and networks!

Yours in service,

Brooke and Jennifer
